Poster From Designer (Jorn Utzon)
Here's a very simple poster by Jorn Utzon. This is about the glasses he designed. This surprised me as I never expected him to have designed homewares too. Though it's a very simple poster, I like it's layout as it is clear and its grid is very obvious. The layout consists of 3 main sections, the top where there are 2 images, the middle with the text, and the third a large image emphasizing on the product itself. The order of the elements can easily be rearranged and still be understood as each one stands out on its own and do not rely on one another for the poster to work. It is easy to work with.

Reflection
The use of many different programs was first difficult as I thought about which would be best. I started modelling with sketchup first then switched to 3DS max as I thought about the difficulty when exporting to crysis when I had to combine the habitats.
Whenever I got stuck trying to design something, I'd refer back to the 2 buidlings I'd chosen from Jorn Utzon and then tried to incorporate his design into my work. It helped and with some editing I could think of new designs to try out. The 2 structures I chose are very different, 1 being a plain brick building and the other a more complex building with glass and a zig-zag form.
So far I find the assignment quite fun as we are quite free to use our imaginations to create a creature, it's home and habitat with our chosen architect sort of as our guide. AR provides a new angle from which presentation can be done and might be challenge as we consider new elements for it.

AR Inspiration
This video is like a game that is not meant to be played sitting down as the player is required to move about etc. I find this interesting because farming is made easy as it's all virtual and only the person playing it can see it.

Interior, exterior and environment images
1st Environment

This environment is high up in the mountains where it is bright. It is where I hope to place Potter's home.

2nd Environment

This environment has been designed for Ali where it is supposed to be somewhat like a swamp where it will be easy for him to blend into. His home would partially be in the bottom of the mountain and also half in the water so that it can easily move in and out of its home.
